First Steps
I completely understand that sometimes the first steps coming to counselling might not be easy. There may be lots of concern and anxiety, even if you have experienced counselling before.
I hope to make those first steps or your trying out counselling again as easy and as relaxed I can. An idea how this might work is below.
Getting in contact and initial steps
I suggest first contacting me by email or by using the confidential form on the 'Contact Me' page. It would be really great to hear from you, and anything you mention is welcomed, accepted and treated with respect and with confidentiality.
If you wish me to contact you by phone, please state in your message any suitable days and times to do this as I want to make sure our chat is confidential for you.
Our chat will be relaxed and friendly. I will talk through what I can offer you and ask a bit about your requirements.
There's no pressure and no obligation from our chat. I usually suggest having a think about maybe a one-off session to see how you feel about it from there.
Often I offer a free no-obligation Zoom chat if you feel you would like to talk a bit more before deciding on a session.
I leave it up to you to decide, just get back in touch if you would like a session.
